Door Interlock Modules

The Sentry Interlocks family is based on a predesigned, plug & play modular platform. The Modules can ship from Sentry Interlocks pre-programmed to a customer’s locking scheme to eliminate any confusion during the installation procedure. Installation is easy with the use of plug & play cables and a minimum number of components to wire up. The detailed wiring schematic provided by Sentry Interlocks provides all the information and instructions on how to wire up and install the system so that no specialized labor is required and every installation is done accurately.

There are three interlocking systems offered to meet virtually any interlocking requirement:

EZ ModLock 2-Door System:

Designed for the simplest interlocking applications like locker rooms or gowning rooms.
Manual, normally unlocked doors
No interface with Access Control, Fire Alarms or Building Management Systems (BMS)
Interlocking control is locally done via DIP switches
Interlocking logic is limited to 4 doors max
Timer option allows a resettable time delay to condition air in the airlock
Most economical solution

EZ ModLock Multi Door System:

Designed for complex applications like cleanrooms, warehousing, laboratories, operating suites
Manual, automated or roll-up doors
Normally unlocked or locked doors
Interfaces with Access Control devices, Fire Alarms or Building Management Systems (BMS)
Interlocking control is locally done via DIP switches
Interlocking logic is limited to 10 doors max
Timer option allows 2 settable time delays to condition air in the airlock

WebLock System:

Designed for complex interlocking applications in cleanrooms, warehousing, laboratories, operating suites
Manual, automated or roll-up doors
Normally unlocked or locked doors
Interfaces with Access Control devices, Fire Alarms or Building Management Systems (BMS)
Interlocking control is via Web-based software that allows dynamic changes locally or remotely
User friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows Users to interactively monitor and manage the system
Interlocking logic is limited to 100 doors max

Works with all types doors – swing, sliding, roll-up and Pass-thru’s
Works with any electric locks and door position sensors rated 24VDC
Compatible with most Access Control devices such as card swipes, badge readers, biometrics, numeric keypads etc.
Time delay option that includes ability to activate ventilation blowers or UV lamps to isolate areas to allow time to condition the air inside the airlock
Provides input to Building Management Systems or other external monitoring systems for centralized monitoring of door status
LED indicators on each Module provides troubleshooting capability
Sentry branded Door Accessories include LED Indicators, Pushbuttons, Wave Sensors, Emergency Overrides, Audible alarm. Third party Door Accessories can be integrated using Sentry Interlocks Adapters.
